Challenge Rules

 


All the R&A Rules of Golf will apply with the following additions specific to the
“3peaksgolf Challenge”:

3peaksgolf Challenge Rules
1. Local course rules will apply on the day
2. Players must play from the appropriate tees for visitors as specified by the course on the day.
3. Tee times and acceptance of visiting players are at the discretion of the three courses
4. A player is not allowed to ride on a motorised sit-on buggie or vehicle on any of the courses but can use a caddie or trolley to carry their bag including a motorised trolley if the course rules allow on the day.
5. Travel between the courses must be by road and legal road transport and any road traffic offence committed during the challenge will invalidate the attempt for the entire team.
6. A non-playing person must witness and sign the noted time of the first tee shot on the first course and the last putt holed on the last hole on one of the players’ score cards.
7. Unexpected Lost Ball – If a ball or provisional ball is unexpectedly lost, the player, with the agreement of the other players, may elect to drop a substitute ball at the place where the lost ball is likely to be for a one stroke penalty OR use the stroke and distance penalty.
8. Unexpected Out of Bounds – If a ball or provisional ball is unexpectedly out of bounds, the player, with the agreement of the other players, may elect to drop a new ball within two club lengths of the point of exit and no nearer the hole, with a one stroke penalty, OR use the stroke and distance penalty
9. Cards must be completed for all three courses with all players scoring
